Shabri Movie Review

Offers little that hasn't been seen before

Everyone in the supporting cast with the exception of Zakir Hussain rises to the occasion and makes Shabri, despite its many flaws, watchable if not memorable

Shabri is quite poignant with scenes oscillating between wordless calm and brutal action: aesthetic and accessible at the same time, even though this is often at the cost of pace

Mumbai Mirror

Simple as Shabri is, director Marathe makes the film a gritty watch that keeps you fairly engaged.

It holds your attention in parts, but there's no novelty whatsoever in its plot

BollywoodHungama

The action is fast-paced, the acting is immensely watchable and Shabri ends up as a stylish debut by director Lalit Marathe
