This is death by boredom!

With its somber palette and plot-with-potential, Aatma could have been a true scare-fest. But it winds down to being well begun, half done

Indian Express

The spirit is willing, but the treatment is weak

The big issue with the film is that when the horror works the story doesn’t, and when the story moves ahead, it is not scary at all

Mumbai Mirror

Aatma is meant to send shivers down the spine and shock the viewers out of their seats. All it does manage to do is set off a few mild waves of cold bemusement

Aatma neither scares you not entertains. Lack of spine chilling moments and wafer-thin of the story totally ruin Aatma's chances

nowrunning

Stands on a weak script. Besides, there are hardly any scares here. Disappointing!
