Yeh Khula Aasmaan revolves around Avinash, a young intelligent boy going through an extremely challenging phase of life due to his academic failures. He feels an immense vacuum which unfortunately his busy parents are unable to fill. In desperation he visits his Grandfather (Dadu) after several years.

Being the Best Kite Runner of his era, Dadu uses the 'kite' to subtly impart the lessons of life and prepares Avinash to face life. Even the keen, wait for DVD.
Yeh Khula Aasmaan is a partial success at an attempt to show how children succumb and lose their confidence to pressure from parents. Soon enough though, it contradicts itself and becomes a predictable story.

Word of mouth – Yeh khula aasman will cater to the older generation looking out for clean films that come with a message.
