Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana gives you exactly what is promised in the trailers. A warm Punjabi family, subtle humor, a little romance, a little suspense, and a predictable base plot. Fine performances and some fresh, earthy dialogue keep the momentum and interest in this otherwise plain plot.

Word of mouth - Luv shuv tey chicken Khurana is good in intention and is sprinkled with some lovely moments but ends up as boring and bland.

Rating - *** (Above average)

Ticket meter - Worth 150 bucks.

The film has a story (yay! for Bollywood), a great cast, melodious music, good production values and attention to detail, humor and a warm, fuzzy feel-goodness.
It is a good film, but in an underwhelming sort of a way. It’s probably still one of the better movies of the year and loads better than crap like “Ek tha tiger”, but it is slow and meandering and lacks that oomph which would have made it special. This is still worth a watch – for the humor and the bonhomie and the eccentric characters and their crazy situations. It reminds one of home, because the Khuranas – they’re OK-shokay.
