After the disastrous sequel, Golmaal has bounced back with considerable verve and I’m surely looking forward to this franchise continuing. What makes it interesting is the variance that Rohit brings to the plot keeping the salient features of the main characters intact. The team seems to be enjoying the Golmaal experience and that’s quite visible throughout the film, accentuated further by the cheeky self-referencing closing shot. I just wish that they continue with the same verve and enthusiasm that they made Golmaal 3 with and leave out the melodrama. This is what “Leave your brains home” entertainment is.
