Action Replayy (Hindi)
Release Date:
November 05, 2010Action Replay is a time travel tale based in Mumbai in. It is about an elderly man who travels backwards in time to when he was a young handsome man in the 1970s.
‘Action Replayy’ is 70’s retro look done to death and screened on the projectors of 2010s. We have been through the movies of 70s and hardly could relate to so much of colourful extravaganza, cliché bellbottom pants and Zeenat Aman glasses of ‘Action Replayy’.
By wogma's guest reviewer ideasmith:
In keeping with the Diwali mood, Action Replayy is all about bright colours and loud noises. Expect no more than that (not even a plot) and you'll be entertained...just about enough. The superficiality of depiction of the 70s era grates but the gags carry you through for some part. After that, it's time to walk out of the theatre and never think about it again.
Action Replayy is NOT a Back to the Future rip-off. This could never have been one, for even Shankar has a better scientific temper than Vipul Amrutlal Shah (Refer to my Robot review for an explanation of the comparison). This is an adaptation (read : rip-off) of a Gujarati play of the same name.
First of all,
Awaaz neeceeehe !!!! to all the critics that say that this movie is not good.

So my dear critics ,i will tell you only one thing........
Awaaaaaaz neeeeeeche !!!!!!!!!!!!!
It is popcorn movie. Choreography is exceptional. It's desi "Back to the future". Aishwarya Rai is Very cute in the flash back. Noting new from Akshay but the combo is sexy. Neha Dhupia is wasted. Aditya Roy Kapoor acted with ease. There isn't a single scene in the movie that deserve big applause.
Silly brainless comedy, Wednesday afternoon u got nothing to do then go to this movie.
"Awaaz Neeche" is one really cool dialogue in this movie.
